We are trying to enjoy 'us' time as we only have 8 months left of life being just the two of us...that part kind-of trips both of us out as we've had 6+ years togetherness of just US! We're both stuck in our ways and like the routine that we've created for our lives together...now thinking of a child that will change dramatically, but of course for the better :). So needless to say we are trying to have date nights as often as possible...getting out of the house & eating at a fun restaurant, since that will be limited when you have an infant. Well up until a few nights ago eating somewhere nice or remotely fancy just sounded like a waste to me as nothing really sounded good and I knew I just wouldn't enjoy the experience as much...but thankfully this past week my appetite has come back (probably too much so!) and I've been enjoying my hubby's wonderful meals and we had a wonderful date last night. One of my all time favorite foods is Thai food, however Jesse isn't too big a fan of it...but since I have the best hubby in the world he treated me to this Thai restaurant that we've heard is phenomenal! And that it was and then some! The food was AMAZING, the ambiance was over the top and the service was probably the best service we've had in a long time! It was definitely a memorable experience and Jesse loved the food. I have a feeling we'll be back to this spot many more times! It was especially nice since everything tasted great to me and I got to have my all time favorite drink ~ Thai Tea. Thanks my love for such a great date! This weekend = my tummy starting to show...so neat, but feels a bit weird to have a pooch!
