An EaSteR tO rEmEmBeR...
We are now at 31 weeks along and we had quite a scare yesterday. I had been having contractions since last Wednesday and they were staying fairly consistent. Finally my wonderful hubby, mom & mother-in-law didn't give me an option, but to go to contact my doctor and then get to the hospital. Per the doctor's orders I was to get in immediately to get set up on the monitors to monitor how the baby was doing. He/she was doing great ~ heartbeat was perfect & it was of course as usual, full of spunk - actually trying to kick the monitors off of me! Almost 4 hours later and to make a long story short ~ I am not on bedrest and if we hadn't gone into the hospital yesterday I would have most likely gone into labor last night and delivered our baby at 9 weeks pre-mature. Praise the Lord I put my stubbornness aside and got to the hospital. Please pray for us and this lil one...as he/she really wants to come out, but it's just not time yet. If he/she were to come out this soon it would be in the NICU and I wouldn't even be able to take him/her home for several weeks. It's lungs are not even fully developed yet and it really needs more time to 'bake' :) We love you little one and we are soooo excited to meet you, but please stay put for at least 5 more weeks!
I am so thankful for my selfless hubby...now he gets to not only work 11 hour days (tax season), study for his next exam, prepare to have a baby, but now he also is cooking and cleaning house full-time in my absence. Thank you my most precious best friend in the whole world, I just love you and praise the Lord to have you as my husband!
Jesse finished the nursery this weekend ~ which he found to be ironic at the timing...but it looks adorable and you can see pics on the links below (the posting on the baby room). He did a great job and this baby is going to be quite spoiled & of course well loved.
...Until next time...
