38 Weeks...
We had our 38 week appt today and apparently I'm not even dilated yet. I was so sad! Doc said it's very common to start getting contractions as I am and they could last for several weeks or I could go into labor tonight - everyone's body is different. My cervix is soft, but not dilated. My body is just preparing for 'real' labor. So, Jess & I had a date night tonight which included din-din in downtown SLO and then we headed to Shell Beach for our maternity photo shoot that our dear friend Melissa was willing to do for us. We are trying to keep this 'us' time sacred as we know it could be at anytime. We are both so ready for this lil one to arrive, but it will come when it's good & ready :)
