Sweet Braden ~ days 8 - 11 of his life...

The last few days has been full of 'firsts' for our lil guy.
Thursday, Jesse thought it would be fun to make a champagne breakfast in honor of Braden. So he made an amazing breakfast for my Mom & I and it was wonderful! Jesse & I had our first date night ~ Grandma watched the lil one while we had a date at cold stones.
Friday, he said 'good-bye' to his Grandma who had been here helping us since his birth. That was a very sad moment for all of us and there were lots of tears shed. Thank you Grandma for all your wonderful help in keeping our house running while the new Mommy & Daddy learned the ins & outs of parenting :) Thank you for teaching us your expertise and sharing in this special time with us.
Saturday, Braden got to go to his first Farmer's Market! He also got to meet his girlfriend, Kyla who was born just 3 weeks before him :) They were both quite the troopers as their Mommies took them around in the heat ~ they were both sound asleep.
Sunday was Jesse's 1st Father's Day! What better gift then a sweet baby boy?! We surprised Daddy with some fun gifts and then a day full of fun. We started the morning off with breakfast at our favorite local spot, then headed to Target to get more diapers for our lil guy (yes, he goes through them QUICKLY!) then we were off to Shell Beach for a nice relaxing time away from the 90+ degree heat that Paso was having. Braden was quite the trooper and we had a wonderful day! Happy Father's Day!
Oh! And last, but not least - Braden slept 6 hours straight 2 nights ago & 7 hours straight last night!!! He's such a champ!!
