Fun, Fun!

We had another busy, but very FUN weekend! Saturday we had our friend, Melissa, shower and that was such a relaxing event. Most the time showers are so busy, intense & just crazy, but this one was so relaxing in the backyard of one of our close friends. The weather was AWESOME and the ambiance was so theraputic. We are so excited for Billy & Melissa and cannot wait to see what they're having ~ we talked them into having it be a SURPRISE!! So worth the wait guys, you are going to be stoked when you meet your lil one :)

After that we headed to Shell Beach to meet up with our special friends, the Harrington's. We are getting better at seeing each other more often and we so enjoy our times with them. We've known them for almost 6 years and everything seems like 'old hat' when we hang out. You pick up where you left off, and can just sit in silence & it isn't awkward. Their son, Will, is a kick! He is quite the 3 year old ~ full of spunk & wild imagination. He has a silly nickname for me, which he says with his big beautiful green eyes and a killer smile! It's so fun now that we have a boy that we can join in on the 'parent' discussions :) Until next time guys...we cannot wait! Becca, I'm so excited about our regular play date with the boys ~ Braden is looking forward to seeing them again already! Ha!Today we woke up and were getting excited to try to make it to church. Our church was meeting on their property in their tent, so we figured this was a good time to go since germs would be far & few between being outside. Braden did GREAT and during worship it was soooo sweet, he was all smiles the whole time! Thankfully nobody pushed to touch him, which I was grateful for people respecting my wishes. To be honest I'm getting tired of people making me feel bad for protecting my boy and at this point I just don't care if I hurt feelings ~ I saw our pediatrician this past Friday and he was so supportive of me being so protective and he said to continue to stand up for my boy. Thanks sweet doctor! After we got home from church we were excited to meet up with some neighbors that we have just started to get to know. They have an adorable 10 month old little boy named Rylan and he is such a cutie! He has these beautiful big blue eyes & a smile to die for!! Both the boys were great and we very much enjoyed getting to know our neighbors better.

These are from Sunday afternoon...he was one happy lil guy!
Check out those chunky thighs!!
I must add that our lil Braden was QUITE the trooper! He did fantastic with all the social groups, unless he wanted FOOD - understandably so :) Oh...one more thing ~ we weighed him Friday and he weighed in at 12lbs/10oz!! Our lil 6 week/2 day old boy is 12lbs/10oz!!! What a champ at eating!!
Guess I don't need to worry if he's getting enough food!
