...I remember your birth like it was just yesterday...I do not remember any pain ~ all I remember is the JOY your Daddy & I felt the moment we met you!! I cannot believe it's been 6 months already, but at the same time it feels like you've been with us forever. I cannot imagine my life without my lil man. I used to think I know what it meant to love someone, to know what true joy is and to know how to put others first, but I have realized I have learned all of this from you. You have taught me more about myself in these past 6 months than I feel like I've learned my entire life. You have taught me to be who I am and to not budge from that. I have learned from you how to set up extreme boundaries to protect you ~ even though it takes me out of my complete comfort zone at times, I do it for you. We have learned what kind of parents we want to be rather than what the world wants us to be. I am so in love with you and would give you anything in this entire world. As I sit here and write this I have tears coming down my face at the indescribable feeling I get that you're my son, you're all mine!!!! Your smile, your giggles, your lint hidden in your rolls, your sweet baby breath...you are perfect, absolutely perfect.
We are in awe of you sweet baby boy...we know it is only going to keep getting better, but I really wish we could just freeze time.
