When I was growing up we had a tradition every year of my parents giving each of us kids a new ornament (or 2 or 3!!) that was either from our family vacation or represented something we were doing that year. When Jesse & I got married my Mom & Dad gave my box's of ornaments to me to start with our little family ~ which we were grateful for so we didn't have to buy a bunch of ornaments! We continued that tradition with just the two of us ~ we exchange ornaments between the 2 of us each year...and now we have started that with Braden (actually we started it last year since we were prego! haha!). Anyways, it is so fun every year as we go through our ornaments to reminisce our memories with each ornament. It's so very neat and I love that our Christmas Tree is a Story!
