We are ones that cherish our weekends ~ being that Jesse is studying sooooo much lately, the weekends is when we get a little more "us" time. We had an awesome family weekend enjoying this Christmas just as our little family! Saturday started off a bit interesting after getting a call from Jess that he had lost our car key in the ocean while surfing...good thing for having a spare on hand!!! Haha! Though it ended up being a huge blessing in disguise as it was absolutely gorgeous at the beach...so we ended up hanging out for a little bit and enjoying the beautiful weather!! Braden LOVED it - we put him in the sand and you can only guess what the happened next ~ yes sand "almost" in the mouth...we were quick to catch it!
We got home and had missed our friends at the snow day, as it ended at 4...but we ended up at a Christmas tree lot where you cut your own tree down - we loved just walking around and enjoying "us" time.
It was awesome and we look forward to making this a tradition.

it was a freezing cold evening...Braden was snug as a bug in his car seat with LOTS of blankets!That evening we enjoyed Braden's first Christmas parade and he loved the lights and music...he was all smiles and even missed his dinner meal -

We haven't decorated the tree yet...but Jesse did put the lights on it and it smells AMAZING...I just love the smell of a fresh Christmas tree!! ...I'll be sure to post pics of it soon...and Braden LOVES the tree...he always ends up right near it!! Cutie.
