Braden LOVES Uncle Timmy

Braden meeting Zac & Luke!
Our best friends, the Misslers, moved to Missouri 2 years ago this coming July and I cannot even begin to describe how much we all miss them. Being that none of us have family here, we ARE each others families. Jesse & I used to watch their kids for them so they could have date nights and it was so much fun for us since we love kids, but at the time just weren't ready to have our own. They had their 3rd son last February, we had only met him one time prior when he was 3 months old (we were 5 days OVERDUE with Braden when they last visited)...and seeing all of our kids together was so fun!!! They are all going to be like cousins growing up and the best of friends (at least I guess that is what all of us parents hope for!). The youngest was Owen, just 3 weeks old and the oldest was Olivia, 5 years old. We met them at their Cambria vacation home for a fun day and evening of wine, food, dinner, LOTS of treats and best of all one another's company. Olivia and I used to have such a great time when they lived here and we picked up like old times and played together. Jesse & I met Olivia when she was just 2 months old...we cannot believe she is almost 6! She is actually the little girl that has made Jesse want a little girl someday...aside from being terrified she may have "terrible teens" like my sis & I :) She brushed my hair and tried to braid it (quite a challenge with my hair!), we colored, she LOVED Braden and was thrilled when she got to play with him. On our way home we were saying it was funny that it seemed like practically the entire time at least one baby was crying the entire day/evening...they were all troopers though & props to all the kiddos putting up with us parents trying to get a group shot ~ which many (including Braden a few of the times) were in tears not wanting anything to do with the photo!!!!! The Misslers still have their home in SLO and plan to move back in 1-2 years ~ they are out there for their almost 4 year old little boy that has cochlear implants and is in a special school with the hopes of him being able to attend regular Kindergarten when they return to CA. Luke (the almost 4 year old) blew Jesse & I away with his progress! He carries on full conversations and seems like every other 3-4 year olds that we know! Zac & Michelle are amazing parents; in fact, they are who we try to model our parenting skills after. We have always admired them at how they juggle so much and it's great seeing them parent and they have taught us a lot by watching them. The day came & went and we were so sad to say our "see you soon"...we refuse to say goodbye.
