I generally don't post about our friends delivering their babies,but this is a must-read story that can definitely continue to use prayer.
Our good friends, Rob & Jenn, just gave birth to their first daughter, Ella, this past Sunday. This little girl is not your ordinary little girl...she is truly a miracle from Above. Our friends have been trying for going on 4 years to have a baby of their own and finally last July Jenn got some amazing news; she was expecting. I still remember the phone call when we found out; they were cautious in sharing the news as they have been pregnant several times before however none of them made it...just breaks my heart. Ella is a miracle and a little girl that will be SO very loved. Her original due date was April 15, 2009 - which you just have to find classic as it's tax day :) After a very intense and closely monitored pregnancy Jenn went on bed-rest and was admitted to the hospital at 34 weeks and was due for her c-section Thursday, March 19th (tomorrow)...this past Sunday was a very rough day and Jenn ended up having an emergency c-section. Everyone is fine; praise the Lord for wonderful Doctors and Nurses! Miss Ella was a big and healthy baby and has a little play mate waiting desperately for her to come home and play (Braden!). Generally being born 5 weeks early she would need to stay in the NICU for close monitoring and around the clock care, but God has delivered this little angel perfectly and she is quite big and very healthy. They will be released from the hospital tomorrow. Daddy Rob was one proud Dad when he called us Sunday to share the awesome news!
