Jess loves to do projects!! Here he is building Braden an extension to his sandbox...Braden & I are so lucky to have such an amazing hubby/daddy! he takes SUCH good care of his fam. 
finished project...and my clever man added a "mister" so that when we play during the heat of the day he can cool off...how clever is he??!! he was so cute, he kept it a "surprise" until the project was completed - I was one happy gal when he displayed the surprise :)

We were SO excited for a fun-filled day to celebrate the 4th of July!! Our poor sweet boy got his first case of the sickies - an icky cold. He slept until 10:40AM on the 4th!! Poor thing. I woke up on the 3rd with his cold, so that is when we decided to cancel everything for the 4th since we didn't want to spread our germs and we wanted to be healed in time for our trip. Such a bummer!! It ended up being a beautiful day and we really enjoyed quality time in our backyard. Jess ran a few errands, but Braden nor I left the house the entire day which felt AWESOME!! Jess made an awesome breakfast (yummy banana waffles - my FAVORITE!!) and then amazing bbq dinner and thankfully we ended up being able to see the fireworks with some neighbor friends, whom Braden adores!! They are from Thailand so they were super excited to see the "works" :)
