Well, we are at 4.5 months along and had our 1st ultrasound yesterday of the tiny tot. It was SO very special! We were so excited that Braden got to experience this process with us...he kept pointing to his baby sister/brother and he waved too :) He waves to absolutely everyone! He is quite the social butterfly :)
Everything looks perfect and we are right where we should be...the tiny tot was moving quite a bit so the pics attached are not too clear. The first one is our favorite because the lil one is kissing the placenta (you can also very clearly see the spine, crazy), the next are her/his feet and then a moving shot of the profile :) ...of course I had to include one of the little man too :) It's funny I have been feeling her/him moving in my belly since about week 11, but so far she/he is more mellow than Braden was in the womb...I'm sure the next few weeks will tell quite a bit more! This one has kicked Braden 2x so far while I was holding him...pretty cute.
Braden is going to be one amazing big brother - for weeks now he comes up and gives the belly hugs & kisses and anytime one of us mentions "baby" he immediately comes up to my belly and pulls up my shirt to "give hugs & kisses" :) He definitely gets that something is in there!!
We are keeping very busy as I'm sure you can imagine with a 16 month old and I LOVE being at home with him!! He's learning more & more words - he says "hi" "hot" "bath time" "all done" "hat" and I'm sure I'm missing a few...but he does something new every day! We took him to the Monterey Aquarium a few weeks ago - one of Jesse & my favorite spots...and Braden was IN LOVE with all the fishies!!! We will definitely be going back!
