My First Mother's Day!

I must say it felt quite surreal to be spoiled on Mother's Day. As anyone that knows me knows my dream has always been to be a Mommy, but I cannot believe the time is truly only weeks (or maybe even days) away! Jesse made this day an extra special one to remember and it is something I will never forget.

When I woke up in the AM he took me to breakfast to our favorite local spot "Odyssey World Cafe". In our opinion not only is the food amazing, but the ambiance & service is unbeatable! We like to think we're 'regulars' there :) I had my favorite dish - wheat pancake with potatoes, scrambled eggs and their killer blueberry muffin! From the moment I got out of the car people stopped us to tell me Happy Mother's Day ~ I was seriously blown away by this as I didn't know you generally get recognized when you're prego! We hit a few fun shops after breakfast and then headed home for some R&R in the beautiful sun in our backyard. He then surprised me with a PRENATAL MASSAGE...which he tried so very hard to keep a secret, however I found out Saturday evening about it. To me it was still a surprise and was still AMAZING! I happened to catch a message that was confirming the appointment for my massage, I couldn't believe it! I have always wanted a massage, as I've never had a 'professional' one and I must say I am addicted now! I think this is something every woman needs to be treated to at least a couple times a year!!! I told the massage therapist to hit the 'trigger points' for labor! Thanks my love for a very memorable and special Mother's Day :)
