10 weeks old, already?!

not really sure where the time goes, but this lil guy is definitely our pride & joy. as most of you know, I always dreamed about being a wife & mommy...and now being a mommy, it is soooooooooooooo much better than I ever even imagined. I love Braden more than I ever knew I could; I never knew I had that much love to give. Jesse & I have grown even closer through this little guy and let me tell you how amazing it is to see the love of your life interact with your child...that is something you just cherish, there are no words to describe it ~ it's magical.

Braden now talks all the time, laughs & is full of smiles! he now sleeps a minimum of 9 hours per night; he's a champ, he really is. he is the picture perfect child all around (I'm sure all parents say this, but Braden REALLY IS!). last Monday (8.5 weeks old) he began putting himself on his own schedule and has done quite well at keeping with it. today he took a little longer nap than his 2 hour one, and I actually ended up waking him up after 2.75 hours...I just MISSED HIM! Jesse & I actually joked about this the other night because there was a commercial that came on where a kid was laughing up a storm with her mommy & daddy ~ Jess looked at me and said "it makes me want to wake Braden up!"...he really is just precious.

we have had fun getting to know some mommies in the neighborhood and enjoy our daily walks with them. it's been so fun getting to know the other kiddos and seeing all the uniqueness between each child. it's amazing how they have their own little personalities at such a young age. these gals really have been such a blessing to me, I so look forward to our morning strolls!
