11 weeks old

This picture above TRULY captures our lil man...I really still cannot believe the camera for once cooperated! I swear each passing day this lil guy amazes us more & more. He is FULL of energy & life! He makes me appreciate the little things in life. With me now being an at-home Momma we are learning how we DON'T NEED to have everything. Being married to an Accountant (soon to be CPA!!) you can already predict that he is a numbers guy & has always been great about managing our finances, but now it's funny just realizing how much we just don't need to make us happy. We are fine with ordering pizza and watching a movie at home ~ in fact, sometimes we prefer that over going out! My sis visited a few weeks back and I always feel like we are "old farts" when she comes to visit...she has such an exciting life full of stories and my stories, although they are exciting to me, I always feel like we must really sound OLD - even though we're only 26! Britt has these exotic stories about her Hollywood life that predictably entertain us and we now have "poop stories" :) Pretty funny. I wouldn't trade my life for anything in the world.

Braden has now put himself on a schedule ~ he began this all on his own around 8 weeks and it works great for us. Around 6 weeks I started to feel guilty that he wasn't on a "schedule", although what our system was worked very well for us. Sure enough he put himself on his own schedule when he was ready.

I have been practicing "rolling over" with our little guy ~ he laughs & laughs every time! He had done it once by himself at 6 weeks, but it was a total fluke. He plays with his hands ALL THE TIME - he HATES the pacifier, which I'm actually very grateful for! He prefers his 2 fingers (pointer & middle - it's pretty cute!)...sometimes he even gets the entire FIST in his mouth!! He has the worlds cutest giggle, I want to record it so I will NEVER forget it. His absolute favorite song is "wheels on the bus" - he CRACKS up EVERY TIME we sing it! And his puppy, Kona, sings along too - sometimes so loud that it completely outdoes me :) All in all, we have the owrlds' best little boy and we cannot believe he is already 11 weeks. I am trying to bottle up every moment with him..
We love you sweet Braden!
