A Fantabulous Weekend!

Jesse & I arrived Thursday early evening at my parents house. We enjoyed a fabulous din-din, good wine & wonderful conversation. They were sooooo excited to see their grandbaby. He had grown up so much since they had seen him and they were SHOCKED at how big he was! He smiled all kinds for them and coo-ed and "talked". Poor Jess had to get up early the next morning for a seminar for work...that part sucked. I stayed up until 1:30 watching the olypics & hanging out...I hadn't been up that late in a LONG time! My Dad took Friday off from work to hang out with his Braden & daughter ~ thanks Dad!

As soon as Jesse got home from his seminar, we put Braden in my parents pool - his FIRST time swimming! It was sooooo much fun! I swear, for at least an hour prior to Jesse getting home my Mom & I were having a blast getting Braden all dolled up for the occasion. We have more pictures than you can imagine! LOL! He swam in his little floaty and just loved it! Saturday the guys got a great golf day in and then that evening we had a fun dinner all together...it was long overdue to see them. And being that it is the first grandchild they were ECSTATIC to see him! We had a wonderful weekend, the only thing missing was my sweet sister. She was fighting a cold and bless her heart didn't want to possibly spread it to us or Braden. Thank you Britt for always putting us first, especially your nephew. We hope you get better SOON so we can see you in a few weeks! Again, I cannot tell you how much it meant to me that you didn't just ignore the fact that you may have been coming down with something ~ you speak my love language and I LOVE you for that! xoxo

It was a wonderful weekend, which naturally went way too fast.
