FUN IN THE SUN!

Saturday was our first real family day trip! It was awesome to get out of town for a little bit! Being that it was our anniversary weekend we wanted to have some alone time and get to celebrate a little to ourselves! And we did just that! We started the morning off at our favorite coffee shop which is in Shell Beach and then we went to breakfast at one of our favorite breakfast places, also in Shell Beach. I had blueberry pancakes and Jesse had an awesome egg cruisant breakfast thing ~ it looked awesome, but I was too full to try any!! By the pics you can tell that this place doesn’t mess around when it comes to breakfast! It is seriously the best!'

Then we headed to Carpinteria to meet up with Jesse’s family for a beach day. It was beautiful! I have to admit it was a tad overwhelming for me, but thankfully I had my hubby’s wonderful cousins wives that were in the same boat as me ~ having a youngin’ along J Braden & I were in the shade most the day while Daddy played in the sand & water with his cousins & brother. It was a great outing for Jesse & I to be able to have 2 hours each way to just catch up & chat without any interruptions; that was AWESOME and shows that we need to start date nights up again! Before heading to dinner we thought we would go by our first apartment that we had in SB...so we went & took Braden out to see where we first lived after getting married. It felt soooo surreal to be there! Part seemed like ages ago that we lived there and then another part felt like just YESTERDAY that we lived in this 325 square foot apartment. Nothing can ever replace the amazing memories we have when we lived there.
