He's 9 Weeks Old!!!

Our sweet lil man got his 2 months shots today...he did better than Momma did! LOL! It was sad, but at least we know our lil guy is protected against very dangerous diseases. Vaccines are overwhelming for any new parent, even more so now with all the media hype, and I am so glad I researched everything & was educated before having our little one get the shots. I'm actually very grateful for our pediatrician for also taking the time to educate me. There is lots of information out there which is great for new Mommies!
We made a quick stop at the local surf shop - Momma wanted to get her lil guy a "treat" for doing so great on his shots (like he'd even remember it!)...but the "treat" I wanted to get was a bit pricey...so we'll wait until he can pick it out himself. We then headed home for some R&R..he did great, he has been all smiles when he's up, he's definitely more sleepy than normal, but all & all he is doing great!
Our sweet friends Christin & Kenny had invited us to join them at the concert in the park here in town ~ so we packed up the lil one & enjoyed some AWESOME music by some very talented musicians. It was nice for Braden to get out after having his shots - he LOVES the fresh air! Rylan & Braden are going to be great pals! They are so cute! Rylan just wants to play and our lil one isn't quite ready to play - it's really cute to watch Braden follow Rylan! Christin is a great gal & has a huge heart ~ although we haven't known each other long, she is always willing to help me out as a new mommy & I so appreciate her! She was actually an answer to prayer for me, I've been missing my close friends from SLO and wanted someone close by to experience motherhood together ~ and sure enough, literally the next week we met! The best part is she lives just up the street! So cool! We're only 3 months apart and see things very similarly! Very neat how the Lord works.
Jesse & I get a kick out of watching Rylan & Braden, because Rylan seems so much older, but it really isn't that long until he's going to be crawling around & never stopping!
