When Jesse was growing up he enjoyed an annual tradition in his home town known as the Avocado Festival. We thought this would be a fun tradition to start with Braden and we had a great time seeing Jesse's family. We got to see his Mom & her husband, his brother & his son, his Grandpa, a few cousins and their kiddos. His cousin Chris and his wife, Kelley, have a 4 month old that is only 3 days older than Braden ~ so I especially enjoy my time with her as we have quite a bit to relate to! She is one amazing Mom and I'm so thankful to experience motherhood with her.
Here is a fun pic of our little family in front of "THE AVOCADO"...Jesse was trying to signal to me in every way possible to not ask anyone to take this pic, but I just had to have it for Braden's photobook...I kid you not the entire town froze in time to watch the picture captured ~ apparently this is a rare thing for the town!! It was quite comical and I just laughed & my hubby, well...those of you that know him was a bit embarrassed by the town's attention and was super eager to get the picture taken and to get out of sight!! I'm actually laughing as I type this because it was such a silly thing for the town to get stunned over! Hahah! Oh well, maybe we started a trend in Carp...Grandma Cheryl
