It was our 18th annual girls trip to Carmel! Braden is the first boy ever allowed to join us in the fun! The Auntie, Grandma & Great Grandma's had quite the time of their lives with their first nephew/grandchild...as you can imagine! Braden was a wonderful traveler and got "ooooohhhh'dddd & aaaaawwwww'dddd" over by every passing person! We enjoyed fabulous stores, wonderful conversation, amazing food and best of all memories that can never ever be replaced. We are creatures of habit & tradition and pretty much do the same thing each year...although this year we did decide to try one new restraurant which was Greek and was phenominal! I suppose that will now become a regular :) Over the years we have gotten to know different waitresses/people and have actually stayed in touch. It is a really special treat and I am so thankful for all that my Grandma & Mom did for Braden and I.The first pic above is of the girls, Braden & George ~ we have grown quite close to George as he owns the B&B that we have stayed at for 18 years! He is a hoot and we have such a great time catching up while there. He is 80+ years old and full of life. My Mom actually got Braden his first "doll" in Carmel and we all decided it was only appropriate to name him "George" after sweet George from Carmel.
