we had a great, unfortunately too quick, visit with Joan ~ a very close family friend from NEW JERSEY! she made the trek all the way out to meet our lil dude. of course it was well worth it! haha! she got to see our house (for only a short bit!), our cute little town and our lil family. Braden & I spontaneously decided to meet them in Solvang the next day since we weren't quite ready to say our good-byes.
