our chunky lil dude!
I got this fun idea from some other blogs and thought it was a great way to end the week! First, I apologize that our lil man hasn't been on the site for a little bit now...life's been busy. Braden is awesome, that is truly the best word to describe my lil man! He is just one adorable, fun-loving little boy that brings us more joy with each day. With Thanksgiving just around the corner it truly makes me realize how much I have to be thankful for...we have a great little family, what more could you ask for?! He is constantly going now - which keeps me on my toes and makes me need to keep my house a bit more vacuumed, otherwise he ends up with fistfuls of hair...yeah, disgusting. A fun thing about post-partum that I have never known about until recently is that you loose your hair and LOTS of it! I kid you not, I loose a wig-worth every day and it is just gross! So between me & Sawyer it actually caused our vacuum to catch fire this week...literally! The hair got so caught up in the belts that it actually started smoking when I was vacuuming a few days ago. I was shocked and terrified, I never knew it could catch fire! Braden was sound asleep napping so I was able to get it outside and thankfully it didn't actually catch fire, but it gave me a good scare to say the least. And yes, Jess got a frantic call on "what am I supposed to do???!!! where is the fire extinguisher, how do I use that thing, etc??!"!!...it was clearly a sign that I just wasn't meant to be cleaning!
Caiden & Steph...and Ms. Kyla
So, this week...we enjoyed our usual time with our neighbors/friends, we feel so blessed to have such an awesome gang here within walking distance. We enjoyed some fun park time with our friends Stephanie and her son, Caiden and daughter, Kyla...Braden and Kyla are still too young to enjoy the park, but they sure love being outside! It was super chilly, so they stayed all bundled in their strollers! We got to catch up with our SLO gang and the kiddos, so that was refreshing. And last, but definitley not least Jenn came to visit today and we got to see her cute 'ol prego belly today! I totally chumped it and forgot to take of pic of her...but she is absolutely adorable and her pregnancy is such a blessing as it has taken 3 years to become prego. They found out day before last that they are having a GIRL, so think PINK!!! We are so thankful to see the Lord blessing them with this child and we are ecstatic to meet baby girl this April. She also had fun seeing her other kiddo, Kona, as she & her hubby are the ones that gave him to us just a little over 2 years ago now...and Kona just loves when she visits as he remembers her from when he was a little 1.5pound puppy. Please continue to keep our other friends that are unable to conceive in your prayers, we know they are also going to be amazing parents!!Have a great weekend ya'll!
