Braden's 1st Egg Hunt! Every year a local mom's group that we are part of throws a fun egg hunt. This was our first time going and it was great to be with friends and to watch Braden cruise around gathering eggs. We didn't think he would know what to do with them, but sure enough he did - and went right for his basket. It was so cute! The last pic is just classic to me - he appears to want Kyla's egg :) We were bummed we didn't catch more pics or one with all the kiddos together, it was just way too busy to get that in!
We had such a great Easter. My family always does a huge get together and we have barely ever made it down for the event, but this year we did and it was awesome! Braden had his 2nd Egg Hunt and he was an absolute kick watching get his eggs and then climb my parents stairs. He had us all laughing hysterically! We hid a few eggs on the stairs as he LOVES to climb them! And as he was climbing to get them he would throw them to Grandma and then she would give it back...and then he would throw it again, and again, and well, you get the idea. It was classic and this kid definitely has us believing that he is going to be a pitcher someday :) I have tons of pics I will post later, but these are my fav's. My parents got him a rocking horse for Easter and it sings/gallops and "neighs"...needless to say he LOVES it :) And that last pic we just thought was hilarious because he managed to sit right up against his easter basket - toosh and all in the basket!This day was a bit surreal as last Easter is when I went into early labor at 30.5 weeks along and was in the hospital - on Easter (last year it was on March 23), hooked up to monitors and the whole deal. And this year, the Lord gave us the most amazing gift we could have ever asked for.
He died for our sins and He rose again! Thank you Jesus for loving me!
