My heart is heavy today as we learned some heart aching news last night...Jesse's Grandma passed unexpectedly. This came as a complete shock to us; nobody was expecting it.
About a year or so after we got married his Grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, such a terrible disease to say the least. It is so sad to watch someone completely forget who you are and have no recollection of even their own children. We all traveled to Nevada to celebrate one last Christmas with her before she got worse. Soon after that trip she was admitted to an Alzheimer's home. It was there that a nurse noticed that she was having trouble breathing yesterday...and she unfortunately did not make it through the night.
Grandma Charlotte, we love you and we know you are in a much better place!
